School Achievements

  1. I have been part of a project team building a complete “Direct Bancassurance” business for the largest financial services company in South Africa. Project Spice was a strategic initiative within the Old Mutual Group designed to capture exciting new market opportunities in South Africa and address some of the key market challenges that were facing the Group. The project was based in Durban, and was tasked with building and launching a truly customer friendly business. The go to market products were short term insurance and home loans.
  2. Made History by being first paraplegic to climb Sentinel Peak in Drakensberg (Televised 2000)
  3. Written the book "I CAN" which has successfully sold over 30 000 copies.
  4. Implementation and co ordination of various innovative enhancements through challenging circumstances in all aspects of personal and business growth.
  5. Won the Star Awards for Leader of the year for a large and very well known Medical Aid Company.
  6. Created new incentive structure for specific call centers, linking up with the values.
  7. Worked on a very successful pilot team which opened a new branch in Kwazulu Natal.
  8. Created a “can do” attitude within a KZN service team which set standards within the way customer service and their values are run.
  9. Combined 2 call centers in the KZN which now operate with optimal success.
  10. Successfully implemented Multi-Skilling Projects at various organizations
  11. Was the first person to break the african record for going down the biggest slide, “DROP ZONE" in Ushaka (Please refer to drop zone clip) 18/11/2006
